バラ蒸留所さんの取材

香水の制作にローズオイルは欠かせません。その最大の産地がブルガリアです。ブルガリアのローズは、世界の香水産業を支えていると言っても過言でないかもしれません。

そこでブルガリアのバラの谷へ見学に行く香水関係者は少なくありません。

私もチャンスがあり、知人の紹介を受け、バラの谷にあるある蒸留所さんに向かいました。

ブルガリアの首都ソフィアから電車で数時間。途中、運悪く電車が止まり(英語が通じなかったので、今でも何が起きたか不明ですが)、バスなどに乗り換えながらカザンラクという街を目指しました。
